Most of today's issue points at one move: stop paying frontier prices for work that does not need frontier reasoning. cc-mirror makes Claude Code provider-agnostic, and Start Here below turns that into a routing setup you can run by tonight. If your API bill has been creeping, this is the one to actually try.

The Drops
Repocc-mirror
2,257 stars · numman-ali/cc-mirror
Creates multiple isolated Claude Code variants, each routed to a custom provider: Z.ai, MiniMax, OpenRouter, LiteLLM.
Here is the real problem it solves. Claude Code runs every call at the default API endpoint, so your linting pass bills like your architecture session. cc-mirror clones Claude Code into isolated variants you can point at any backend, which means the repetitive work runs on a cheap model while your judgment-heavy sessions stay on the frontier.
Quick start: clone the repo, configure a second isolated variant pointed at OpenRouter or LiteLLM with a cost-efficient model, and route your batch tasks to it.
Catch: cheap routing is not free quality. Log a week of output diffs before you route anything permanently; the point is discovering how much of your bulk work never needed frontier reasoning, not assuming all of it.
Repoclaude-code-is-programmable
310 stars · disler/claude-code-is-programmable
Treats Claude Code as a programmable agentic coding tool you can scale compute through, not just prompt.
Use it for: orchestrating Claude Code as a repeatable primitive in a larger pipeline instead of one session at a time.
Catch: it is shipping fast, and the patterns move with it. Skim the recent commits before you build on one.
Repomacro
1,671 stars · trending this week · macro-inc/macro
A unified workspace combining email, chat, docs, tasks, agents, calls, and CRM, @-linked together with shared AI memory.
Use it for: collapsing the email-chat-docs-CRM tab cycle into one layer when your team runs a deal across six tools.
Catch: an all-in-one only pays off if the team actually moves in. Trial it on one workflow, not the whole company.
Repocodemcp
1,608 stars · ezyang/codemcp
An MCP server that turns Claude Desktop into a full coding assistant.
Use it for: reading, editing, and running code without leaving Claude Desktop.
Catch: if you already live in Claude Code, this is not for you. It is for the Desktop-first crowd.
Repoeasy-llm-cli
1,329 stars · ConardLi/easy-llm-cli
An open-source CLI agent compatible across multiple LLM providers.
Use it for: one interface over many models, no lock-in.
Catch: provider-agnostic tools trade depth for reach. Check it covers the integrations you actually use before switching.
MCPjarvis-assistant-vocal
MCP server · sosoj92/jarvis-assistant-vocal
A local French-language voice assistant wired to Claude or Ollama, fully offline, with integrations for Hue lights, OBS, calendar, browser, and Twilio calls.
Use it for: a reference build if you are wiring a local voice-controlled agent layer.
Catch: it is French-first. Treat it as a pattern to copy, not a drop-in.
AffiliateEmergent
Today's drops are about wiring Claude Code up yourself. When you would rather skip to the finished product, describe the app in plain English and Emergent's agents design, build, test, and deploy the full stack, frontend to database. Idea to working app in one conversation. We may earn a commission.

Start Here
Route your bulk work to a cheaper model tonight
Most operators run Claude Code at the default endpoint and eat full price on every call. Fine for interactive sessions. Wasteful for batch work.
1. Clone cc-mirror and configure a second isolated variant pointed at OpenRouter or LiteLLM with a cost-efficient model (Haiku, Gemini Flash, DeepSeek V4 Pro).
2. Keep your main Claude Code instance on Sonnet or Opus for interactive, judgment-heavy work.
3. Route your repetitive, deterministic tasks to the cheap variant: linting passes, docstring generation, test scaffolding, changelog drafting.
4. Log output differences for a week, then calibrate: anything the cheap model handles at the same quality gets permanently routed there.
TRY THIS: you will know it worked when your API bill drops and your interactive session quality does not.

Amazon opts Twitch streamers in to AI training by default. Streams, VODs, clips, and chat now feed Amazon's models unless streamers actively opt out.
