Let it see your calendar without letting it see everything.
1. Open your calendar app's sharing or integration settings, not your AI assistant's settings.
2. Look for a "connect" or "share calendar" option and pick the narrowest scope offered, usually "free/busy only" instead of "full details."
3. Connect that narrow scope to your AI tool first and test it on one simple ask, like "when am I free Thursday."
4. Only widen the scope to full event details if the narrow version genuinely can't do what you need.
5. Revisit the connection in a month and revoke it if you've stopped using it.
