One vote, then tell me why
44 of you are in here. Most of you read and never post, which is fine, but I want this room to earn its spot in your week.
So, one vote. What would you actually use this room for?
Getting unstuck on a specific error or setup
Seeing what other members actually built
Live build sessions, watch and copy
A weekly build challenge with a deadline
Something else
Drop the number in a comment, then the specific thing: a stuck error, a build you want to see, a tool you want torn down.
Whatever you write, I answer this week.
Anyone here
??
What are you stuck on this week?
Drop the thing that's blocking you right now. The tool, the error, what you already tried. Doesn't matter if it feels small. We read every one and answer every one this week.
the cheapest fix for an agent that ignores you
If your agent keeps skipping instructions, the usual cause is that the instruction is buried in the middle of a long prompt. Models weight the start and the end. The middle goes soft.
Move the one rule you care about most to the last line of the prompt, right before you hand off. Nothing else changes. It holds noticeably better.
Question: what is the one instruction yours ignores most? Just name it, no context needed.
Hi. I’m a human!
Just wanted to say hi to community and say how grateful I am for discovering the email newsletter because it changed my whole direction when it came to AI. The critiqued repo list made a big difference in me setting up Hermes agent initially and is giving me a wider view of the possibilities and made it simpler for me to understand these things and actually pick good sources and repost to look at. Thanks Will.
Pss. I just went through the other posts and the only thing I would suggest is either changing the background color so the text shows up better or changing the text color so the background doesn’t drown it out.
I’ve actually figured a way around token limitation, using open source models, cloud models, and the API models. I built a routing system within my Hermes agent to use multiple backups and configurations, so I have never paid for an API and never run out of limits. The key was programming the agent to have every single skill possible and self evolution chain to be able to do so.
new folks — what did you wire up first?
a few of you joined this week, so: one useful thing, then a question.
the useful thing — the fastest win for most people isn't a clever agent, it's a boring loop. take one thing you already made, and have the agent spin it into the other formats. one idea becomes a week of content. that's it, that's the whole trick.
the question, and answer in one line, no setup needed: what's the first thing you tried to automate — and did it work?
"it didn't work" is a perfectly good answer. probably a more useful one.
the subagent trick that keeps long Claude Code sessions from falling apart
watched Claude Code get dumber the longer a session runs? the context fills with junk — files it read once, dead ends, output you never needed again.
what we do daily: don't research in your main session. spin a subagent, let it read the 20 files / crawl the docs, and hand back just the answer. main thread stays sharp, session lasts 3x longer. one line: "search X, report back only what matters."
what's your context-hygiene move — the thing you do so the agent doesn't rot mid-job?
What should we build next?
Drop the one AI tool, skill, or workflow you wish existed. The most-wanted each week goes into the Builder's Brief, and we try to actually build it. Go.
Anyone else install aigent-OS?
I'm new to the whole AI thing, but I installed aigent-OS and have been able to figure out how to automate Pinterest Pins, Facebook posts, and some other things. Since I don't really know all the things AI can do, I'm wondering what other people have automated because I'm looking for ideas!
Welcome. Here's what this is.
If you're reading this, you're one of the first people in here, so first: thanks for showing up early.
Quick version of what this room is. It's for people actually building with AI agents, not a channel we broadcast at you (the newsletter already does that), but somewhere to compare notes, show what you shipped, and ask the questions that feel too basic to post anywhere else. There are no basic questions here. Half of us are figuring it out in real time.
What it's not: no paywall, no upsell, nothing locked. Same as everything we make. If you're here, you're in.
So to kick it off, reply with one line: what are you building, or trying to build? Doesn't matter how early or rough. I want to know who's in the room.
- Will
Stoked to be here!
Awesome new feature here where we can truly engage and add massive value to our AI fam!

The newsletter is a monologue. This isn't. Post what you're building, what broke, the repo that finally clicked, or the question you think is too basic to ask. Most of us are learning this as it ships, and the field is new enough that nobody has a ten-year head start. Free to join. Members of The AIgent Membership also get the locked channels: the course, the live builds and the vault.
